Looking forward to the show, as an old F**t who has recently got more hooked than before to kayaking, want to now make up for lost time!!

It is great to see that the Canoe Exhibition appears to have been won back. In recent years direction has clearly been lost and some of the exhibitors that used to attend were being squeezed out by increasing costs. This show has the potential to put the interests of the exhibitor and the grass root canoeists back to the forefront. This will be a show that I will be visiting having abandoned the NEC show for the past few years. Best wishes in taking canoe exhibition forward.

Looking forward to meeting with the 'leading suppliers' of the industry and for them to 'capture and enhance my enthusiasm'. I have communicated with several of the leading kayak brand names & retail outlets, over the past 12 to 24 months, in my search for a kayak suitable for someone of my needs, however, no helpful advice has been forthcoming. Let's see if we can find a solution at Canoexpo or will I just have to go and take up golf? I will let you know how I get on..

Where is the racing? Hundreds of people take part in competative kayaking and canoeing every week and yet there appears to be nothing here to interest the flat water racer. We are not all interested in sitting in stubby little boats and playing on wiers some of us want to cover distance and paddle boats that move through the water with grace and speed.

organiser - We did hope to have some racing representation at the show but no one wanted to or was able to make the effort to come. There are hundreds of other boats that do not fit into the short stubby category at the show for you. We would love to have a decent racing showing, talks and organisations present next time.

Awesome weekend at the Expo.

Thanks To Mark, Lorna, Liz & the team for organising.

Good to see so many people and products under one roof.

Great show, it was good to meet the manufacturers and share ideas. I would like to have seen a chandlers section, to buy all those little deck fitting, a fishing tackle stand, to support the fastest growing section of sot kayaking. Also I would have liked to have seen a marine electronics stand for, fish finders, GPS's VHF radios etc, etc, A paddle pool would also have been good,

Enjoyed my visit to the expo, my enthusiasm was indeed captured. I had a lot of people do their best to try and provide for a man of my needs. Looking forward to getting some paddling done soon! Check out my video (click on my name).
