Exhibitions and shows in recent years have declined in many ways. Numbers of attendees and exhibitors are down and recent events have lacked appeal, content, interest and atmosphere.

Increased costs and a host of other issues have led to a negative attitude from the industry and other organisations which in turn has led to disappointing events for the public.

Our Mission is to host a showcase event which celebrates canoeing and kayaking to the enthusiast, newcomer and occasional paddler on a level not seen before in the UK.

Our mission is to create an event that captures and enhances the enthusiasm that exists for canoeing and kayaking in the UK and inspires the newcomer.

 

Retail Exhibition
Canoexpo will feature the largest collection of product brands on display under one roof in the UK. Many of the leading manufacturers and lots of the smaller ones too will be attending.

We aim to make this event easy to attend for our exhibitors whether they are a multi million pound company or a one man band as the diversity and quantity of exhibitors will show.

You will have access to great gear, much of it at show prices and at the very least have all the information for you to make an informed purchase at a later date.

 

Non Retail Exhibitors
You will have direct access to speak to a host of other canoe and kayak companies and individuals comprising of course providers, holiday providers, voluntary organisations and clubs, information resources, educational establishments, governing bodies and more.

You will find details on anything from a half day beginners course to a 2 week expedition and much more.

 

Presentations Programme
A comprehensive range of Speakers are being lined up to inspire, educate and entertain you. We have invited some of the best paddlers and speakers to come along and share their experiences with you.

Inspirational and entertaining talks and slide shows will feature white water kayak expeditions, sea kayak trips and open canoeing from around the world many of which will inspire you to go out there and do it, then come back next year and tell us about it.

A programme of educational workshops and talks covering a diverse range of subjects such as bush craft skills, expedition planning, extreme paddling, how to pack your sea kayak, outfitting an open canoe, navigation, access issues and much more.

Social Programme
Getting a host of like minded people together over the weekend and turning this event into a pleasurable get together is our aim.

Many years ago individuals, organisations and members of clubs attended the canoe shows en masse as there was something for everyone and a real buzz. This is where we intend to take this event and we welcome anyone and everyone with an interest in canoeing and kayaking to come along and enjoy a day out.
