Paddling with Humpback Whales in Alaska
Award-winning wildlife photographer Duncan Murrell started sea kayaking 25 years ago out of a desire to get closer to his favourite photographic subject, the humpback whale. Since then he has spent many summers in the close company of these magnificent animals in Southeast Alaska, and has captured some of the most stunning photographs of whales ever taken, especially of their unique and spectacular bubblenet feeding behaviour.
His highly acclaimed presentation and spontaneous, gripping narrative captures the excitement and tremendous challenges involved in getting up close and personal with these dynamic and elusive animals.
